September is a busy month for many people. Take time this month to celebrate National Day of Encouragement on September 12th. Check out our Encouragement & Confidence category, plan a Kindness Rocks activity, or acknowledge a volunteer in your life. Support literacy this month by encouraging children (and adults) to read since September is Read a Book Month. Plan a teddy bear picnic for National Teddy Bear Day on September 9th.

This month is also a time to raise awareness for Gynecologic Cancer and Suicide Prevention. Spread awareness with an embroidered patch - we have a wide selection of ribbons and awareness patches in stock today.

We created our Every Child Matters patch to help raise support and awareness of the legacy of residential schools. September 30th is Canada's National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Make time this month to promote awareness and help educate others about the impact of the residential school system on the families and the children (the survivors and those who did not return). Wear an orange shirt, read the 94 Calls to Action, read Phyllis' "The Orange Shirt Story," support indigenous businesses, or attend an event in your area.
